Bad

Yes, that is what I am. I am a BAD blogger. There have been so many things that have happened in the past month and I have failed at informing all of you. Way back in February (a month to be exact), we headed off to our amazing vacation. We spent
2 1/2 days in Vegas......ahhh how I missed that place. When we drove away from there 2 years ago I didn't even look back at the city, I was happy to leave. But the anticipation of going there and visiting made me miss it oh so much. We shopped, drove around to memorable places (since that is where me and my honey met), ate amazing food (In N Out, Lucille's, Cupcakery, P.F. Changs, Rubios, Original Pancake House, YogurtLand), and had wonderful reunions with good friends and family. We even had conversations about living there once we were done with school......I don't think it's going to happen though (sorry Katie and Mollie!).

After Vegas my parents and us (they drove through on the way to Cali and picked us up) headed to California! We drove straight to the Huntington Beach....it was a little chilly and windy but so fun for the reunion we had with my siblings and their families that were there already. I can't even say how nice it was to put my feet on sand again.....when I lived back west I would go to San Diego at least once or twice a year and hangout at the beach with cousins and friends and it is so hard to be so far away. We played around and then ate dinner on the pier. Lila loved the beach for about 20 minutes and then I think she started to dislike the wind blowing in her face the whole time.

The next two days were spent in Anaheim at Disneyland and California Adventure! I had not been to Disneyland since I was 9 and didn't remember too much about it. It was such a blast! Lila was able to go on a lot of rides with us (obviously no roller coasters) and her little face was so cute as she watched everything go by. She sure gets a lot of attention. We were waiting for about 15 minutes for everyone at one point and we had over 20 comments from strangers on how beautiful she is....she was SO amazing the whole trip. Hardly ever cried, slept while we were driving or flying, and smiled the whole time. I can't wait to go with her again when she is older! Jason also had a blast. He always went to huge amusement parks (like Cedar Point in Ohio)with his family when he was growing up and of course the rides were not as extreme as he is used to, but he still had so much fun.

We had to say our goodbyes and that was hard of course. We had been planning that trip for almost 2 years and the wait was worth it! It was such a wonderful memory we will carry and so wonderful for my parents to be with all of their grand kids in the happiest place on earth! I am SO grateful for them and all they did to make this trip amazing! Here is a slide show of our trip!
